Happy New Year 2015!

Araki-Jippo(1)Birds and Flowers of the Four Seasons (1917) by Araki Jippo (1872-1944).He was the adopted son and pupil of the well known painter Araki Kampo, who was based in Tokyo, Japan. Jippo founded a Japanese painting society in 1897 and had an exhibit at the Japan-British exhibition in London in 1910 where he was awarded a gold prize.
